Finance Manager

The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a proposed pipeline project that aims to support Europe in its strategic goal of securing further gas supply. It is owned by the three energy companies EGL, Statoil and E.ON Ruhrgas.

For TAP’s headquarters in Baar, Switzerland, we are looking to engage a Finance Manager to support the Finance team.

Position title: Finance Manager
Reporting to: Commercial/Finance Director
Subordinates: Finance Accountant and Coordinator, Finance Assistant
Place of work: Baar (Switzerland) 


Main tasks and duties:


  • Responsible for the implementation of the TAP AG and the TAPAS cost accounting system
  • Responsible for the financial controlling of TAP AG, TAPAS and the TAP project
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of an adequate financial project controlling of the TAP project
  • Responsible for timely project financial controlling reports of the TAP project
  • Responsible for the shareholder accounting information reporting system of TAP AG and TAPAS
  • Responsible for monthly and annual closing of accounts of TAPAG and TAPAS, including preparation of audited annual accounts
  • Responsible for the development of annual project budgets for 2011 and further on
  • Responsible for maintenance of financial compliance processes (Internal Control System, IKS)
  • Support maturing the TAP project to DG2 and DG3
  • Support analyses of international taxation issues, including responsibility for VAT issues
  • Responsible for the performance of the subordinates
  • Responsible for the cash management of the TAP project, including reporting
  • Responsible for the calls for the Investor Loans, and their follow up, including affiliates
  • Responsible for the calls for equity, and their follow up, including affiliates
  • Responsible for financial risk management, such as foreign exchange risk or credit risk
  • Any other tasks of the Commercial Unit

Requirements:

  • Certified accountant with knowledge of Swiss OR and IFRS and higher education (University degree or equivalent)
  • 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in an international operating company (project company preferred)
  • Experience and knowledge of intercompany transactions
  • Good knowledge of tax accounting and preparation of tax reports
  • Good understanding of payment processes and banking interfaces
  • Very goods skills in SAP-Modul FI/CO
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Strong analytical qualifications
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible and service minded
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Takes initiatives and can work independently
  • Team player able to work in a multicultural environment
