Message from TAP's Project Management Team
A project of such magnitude as TAP is challenging and complex. It is surrounded by a multitude of risks which can be minimised through professional project management and responsible behaviour. In order to achieve its goals, it is vital for TAP to maintain an undisputed reputation and to be considered a professional and reliable partner by the customers and other business partners.
In its daily operations TAP fully complies with legal and regulatory requirements while upholding good market practices at all times.
In December 2008 TAP project has approved its Code of Conduct, an important document designed to preserve and foster the integrity and reputation of TAP and to help its Employees and others who work for TAP to avoid misconduct.

TAP commits to following the Code of Conduct not only up to the “letter of law”, but it will also consider the broader meaning of the document and importance of complying with the “spirit of law”. It is our responsibility to exercise good judgment and remain accountable for our actions.
TAP commits to acting in an ethical and socially responsible manner and within the laws, customs and traditions of the countries in which TAP operates. TAP's ambition is to avoid negative environmental impacts, enhance positive effects and contribute to the sustainable development.
In August 2008, TAP Management has approved the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy to express its commitment to the international standards and to the use of best practises in this regard. In February 2009, the Corporate Social Responcibility (CSR) Policy was approved as an outline of TAP's social commitments.
